Janet Yellen, chairwoman of the Federal Reserve has recently come under fire after a blood test has shown she was born to extraterrestrial parents as well as making frequent phone calls to her home planet. A bi-partisan group of politicians has come together to request that she step down from her position on the grounds that her decisions may be influenced by the extraterrestrial motives and not in the best interest of the citizens of the United States. Arizona Senator John McCain stated Friday in a press conference that "Yellen's power and influence over the Federal Reserve is a direct threat to this nation's economy. We all know of the questionable motives that extraterrestrials hold, their long term goals of world domination, and their unsettling lack of height." The ACLU has come out in defense of Yellen, stating that the Extraterrestrials aren't planning world domination for at least another 200 years and that "We'll all be dead by then." Janet Yellen maintains that Extraterrestrials have no need to enslave all human beings, and have no plans for world domination in the foreseeable future. Despite the insistence that her motivations are pure, many critics are still wary of the potential enslavement of the human race.
